Alliant International University has selected Elluminate as our lecture capture and delivery platform. Elluminate is linked with our Moodle LMS. Joining live events and viewing captured events can be accessed upon logging into your Moodle account. If you need assistance, please contact Learning Technology at (858) 635-4357, option 2 or email Ltech@alliant.edu.

Whether you have two students—or two hundred—Elluminate Live! enables world-class communication, collaboration, and education that transforms teaching and learning. Will the Learning Technology department provide me with a web camera and headset?
The Learning Technology department does not have web cameras or headsets for loan. Purchase of a web camera or headset is the responsibility of the requesting school or department. The Learning Technology department can assist you with placing a request with the Alliant Procurement department.
What web camera and headset can I use with Elluminate?
You can use virtually any web camera or headset that your computer supports. The Alliant Learning Technology department recommends the Microsoft LifeCam VX-2000 web camera and Logitech ClearChat Comfort USB Headset.
How can I get familiar with using Elluminate?
You can take advantage of training offered via the links above and you may also obtain a free three connection web conferencing account for Elluminate vRoom. This account is unrelated to your Alliant account and is available to anyone within or outside the university.
How can I configure and test my audio settings to participate in an Elluminate session?
For help with configuring your audio settings, select the following link for PC Audio Setup Wizard for PC, select the following link for MAC Audio Setup Wizard for MAC.
I am experiencing delays in receiving data in my Elluminate session.
To minimize slow data transmission, follow the recommendations in the following link Setting Your Connection Speed. Type in "setting your connection speed

- Click on your Elluminate Moodle session.
- Click on "Join Session"
- The moderator can click on “Session” and then “Invite New Participants…” to invite users who do not have a Moodle account.
